A is for Awesome! :)

The idea is very new for me, just noticed a post on fellow Blog – Book Babble – about this Challenge. Loved the idea, decided to join in!

The challenge is to post every day in April, each day different letter of the alphabet 🙂 I am usually thrilled about the blog challenges, so why not this one? I’m in!!!

Did not have enough time to think the theme through – so no theme for me 😀

As I was walking from the bus stop, sun was shining, still the frost was nipping on my ears, and I actually had mixed feelings… I mean – come on, it is April after all! Maybe it was God`s way to play the April Fools joke on us? I mean – giving us the sunshine, sure, but “I got your nose” 😛
Anyways, I was walking and just as I was about to turn into the driveway – two robins were hopping on our lawn! 🙂 Cute as two buttons, chests as orangey-brown as only robins can have!!! I thought – hey, maybe that spring really IS just around the corner?
I went about my routine (or something I HOPE is my routine by now 🙂 ) exercises, as usually – in front of my kitchen window. Was a bit lazy about it, somehow today I did not feel it in me…  As I was doing some reps of squats I noticed something in the tree… It was NOT a branch, NOR a squirrel. Not an usual pigeon it had something strange about its head…  I looked carefully and – what it turned out to be? A Blue Jay! 😀 Not very often do they come to our back yard!!!
So, as I was finishing my routine, I was thinking – the world IS awesome. Even if I do not notice it that often…

…and to finish this AWESOME post –

😀

  1. Having just found your blog and worked backwards through all your AtoZ posts I can officially say You’ve had an Awesome AtoZ.

  2. Awesome! Agreed this spring does seem to be teasing us.

  3. Glad you were able to get in under the wire. Yes… It is much better to see the AWESOMENESS of the world than to stare at its problems. Starring does not fix anything, and if you don’t notice the awesomeness,,,, during the fix- you might lose it!

  4. Hi there! Thanks for letting me know about this challenge. I don’t want to make you jealous, but I have had a few windows open today. 😉 We are a bit further south than you are though. I’m so ready for Spring! I’m starting to keep the bird feeder filled and heard my cardinals earlier.

  5. Enjoyed reading your challenge post! I’ll have to stop by again and see what books you’re reading. (1035, BO)

  6. I’m going to 2nd Emilia. Any little hint of Spring has me thrilled 🙂 And yay and welcome to your first A to Z challenge! It’s a great time 🙂

  7. I enjoyed “taking a walk” with you today. Keep noticing all those signs of spring and inspiration!

    • well, I just have to be happy with each and every sign of spring, no matter how minuscule they might be – the snow is not completely gone yet…

  8. I saw a few mallard ducks the other day. Hoping that’s a sign of spring for me. That would be awesome.

    • I am really waiting for that spring to come… so far we had a few separated warmer days, and that’s it… I’m trying not to think that after few warmer days that we have now, they predict up to 3cm of snow for next week… after all – they might be wrong, right? 🙂

  9. Of course you are awesome too… Do drop by my blog. I came across this challenge through few of my blog pals and I am liking this!

    🙂 🙂

  10. No worries about having a theme for the challenge. Some of the best A to Z posts are those that are spontaneous.

Good luck with the 2015 A to Z Challenge!

  11. It’s easy to forget how truly perfect life on Earth is (or can be when we lighten up a little.) Thanks for the reminder!! Happy Blogging!

    • yup 🙂 it is so easy to give up to a gloom’n’doom around sometimes… I am trying to keep my eyes at least half open all the time 😉 do not want to miss something beautiful!!! 🙂
