And of course there is no other way as to drink it black, strong and hot. Or – total opposite: iced capp, sweet, milky and light π But I do not call it coffee, it is cappuccino after all π
If possible – with a company of friend(s) or just a bunch of people to talk to π
Option two (equal to one though π ) – a coffee&book combo…
As to coffee itself – I knew I’d love it before I tasted it. I remember as a little (and then not so little) girl I’d always hover above my Mom’s coffee cup as it was brewing (she’d drink it what we called “turkish style” – boiling water poured over the coffee grounds). I loved the smell, could sit there and inhale it all the time. My Mom stood her ground though and I was not allowed to taste it until I was 16 π
Obviously – I have my faves. Main thing is though – it has to be strong. And by that I mean – 5 heaping teaspoons per 400 ml mug – strong. Nope, I do not drink it my Mom’s way (neither she does anymore, my Sister still does π ), I have my trusty one cup (more like one mug π ) coffee maker.
Of course from time to time I enjoy coffee in a fancy cup… Like when I’m in a restaurant π There is a risk involved in ordering coffee there though – not Β everywhere it is “drinkable”- so to speak π
I have my favourite brands (nope, not expensive ones π The amounts I drink would’ve left me bankrupt looooong time ago π ), occasionally experimenting with new ones, knowing that in case it turns out to be not too great – I can always do the salt&cinnamon trick (yup, few grains of salt soften the taste, and cinnamon… well, it just smells divine, does it not? ).
I stay away from all those k-cups or whatchamacallits. Not for me. I like to mix in a tsp of hazelnut vanilla coffee though. And when in the mood for something with a kick – I add a shot of Irish cream… mmmmm…
…and having said that – my mouth is watering, so I better stop now (although I could go on π before I’ll think another Cup of Coffee is in order! π

I always wondered why my Dad made coffee that way (boiling water and coffee grounds). Good to know. I love the K-cups because I can make one cup as opposed to making a whole pot of coffee. I also enjoy tea especially green, black, and matcha.

I like the smell of coffee, but don’t drink it. Tea for me please.

I have quite a selection, which one do you prefer? toasted walnuts, lime gelato, key lime… and more that I don’t even remember the names? π (no decent black tea in my house though, sorry π )

I love a good strong cup of coffee too. I like a sturdy coffee cup that keeps it piping hot.

For long time that was my dream – to drink a cup of coffee while it is still hot:) When the kids were small I was drinking the same one cup of coffee all day, putting it into microwave some 10+ times … π

I think I’m the only adult on the planet who doesn’t drink coffee lol. My hot drink of choice is mint black tea, but usually you’ll find me with a diet Coke π Good luck with the challenge this month!
